The main goal of the Iowans for Nebraska is to provide annual scholarship funds encouraging central Iowa high school students to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Iowans for Nebraska donates $500, which is matched through the University of Nebraska Foundation to help offset scholastic costs for two recipients per year. Donations to help fund the scholarship endowment are fully tax deductible.

In 2010, Iowans for Nebraska established a permanent scholarship endowment. We will continue to build on the endowment, hoping to increase scholarship funds in the future.
